By providing a complete breakdown of costs, Terre Neuve helps simplify confusing cost analysis for clients, another major factor in insuring projects finish on time and on budget.
Kenneth M. Flanz, President
Ken Flanz is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Montreal Law Faculty. During his years in Montreal, he supervised construction of more 1.5 million square feet of industrial, commercial, retail and office space from the ground up, as well as several major housing developments and mid-rise buildings.In 1977 Mr. Flanz made a decision to center his attention in the South Florida area and formed Terre Neuve Corp., which has been successfully engaged in commercial general contracting, uninterrupted since that time. As a State of Florida Certified General Contractor, Ken remains the driving force behind a dynamic team of professionals now recognized as one of the leading commercial general contractors in Broward County.
Lorna Lawrence, Accountant/Office Manager
Lorna joined Terre Neuve in February 2000 and is responsible for overseeing our Accounting Department. Lorna’s experience in this capacity brings much-needed expertise to this important function.
Ted Van Kessel, Field Director
Ted Van Kessel has been a key part of Terre Neuve’s for more than 25 years. He has been in charge of numerous projects, from medical offices and shopping centers, to bank branches and fire stations. Ted is directly responsible for all phases of on-site relations to insure every project runs smoothly from start to finish. Recently, Ted assumed additional duties as Chief Estimator. Mike Awad, Field Director
Mike grew up with Terre Neuve, beginning his career as a carpenter’s helper more than 20 years ago. Today, as a Field Director, Mike oversees projects, keeping them on schedule, coming up with solutions to foreseeable problems before they occur. Currently, Mike is supervising the construction of the 5-story Island Breeze condominium project in Deerfield Beach. Among his other projects:- JAFCO, Sunrise
